While this site primarily serves as Dunebat’s and Empress Kitten’s shared blog, Dunebat Country also serves as a showcase for past and future works in various media created by Dunebat and Empress Kitten. Works featured here at Dunebat Country include random missives on diverse subjects such as spirituality, the Judeo-Christian faith, Forteana, conspiracy theories, geek culture, and brief fictional works in the fantasy / science fiction / horror genres, among other disparate subjects.
Life is colored in a myriad of strange and dazzling hues, and they aren’t always in bright primary colors. Many times, life’s colors are dark, moody, and mysterious. That, in part, is the focus of Dunebat Country: observations and examinations of the darker, stranger aspects of life, journeys through the shadowy alleys and nocturnal vistas of human existence and examinations of the brilliant light that casts such deep shadows. We invite you to take these journeys with us… but beware: here there be bats!
